About Us

Who We Are

The AreitoTaino Group is a New York–based nonprofit 501(c)(3) performing arts organization dedicated to building a more inclusive, equitable, and vibrant creative community. We believe that artistic excellence and diverse representation are not separate goals—they are one and the same.

Founded in 2024 by three visionary Latina women, AreitoTaino was born from a simple yet powerful idea: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. We set out to change that. Today, we serve artists, educators, and cultural leaders across all five boroughs, providing equitable access to training, mentorship, legal support, and performance opportunities.

What We Do

We create pathways. Through hands-on programs like our Summer Youth Intensive Playwriting Program and Copyright & Entertainment Legal Clinics for Artists, we bridge the gap between raw talent and sustainable creative careers. We produce work that challenges norms, celebrates cultural richness, and reflects the full diversity of New York.

Our Approach

We meet artists where they are—geographically, financially, and professionally. Whether you’re a teenager writing your first play, a working actor navigating contracts, or a community member looking to experience live performance for the first time, you will find a door open here.

Our Promise

We are grassroots-grown and impact-driven. We keep the arts relevant, accessible, and affordable. And we are committed to amplifying voices that have too often been left out of the spotlight.

Join Us

AreitoTaino is more than an organization. It is a growing movement of artists, advocates, and audiences who believe that the arts can transform individuals, communities, and the world—one story at a time.
